Additionally, for some reason, when I visit the App Store on my iMac, it doesnt give me the option to update, it just shows 2.99 where the update button normally is for all of the Apps/Extensions that I have on my computer. Imho - not worth paying for that touch tool. BetterSnapTool allows you to easily manage your window positions and sizes by either dragging them to one of the screens corners or to the top, left or right side of the screen. I wanted to know if BetterSnapTool is compatible with macOS Monterey, as I was thinking of upgrading from Big Sur 11.6.5. Unless your software requires having middle click, I'd stick to free alternatives for windows-like stuff, like AltTab for app switching, Rectangle for "aero-snap", CopyLess for clipboard history etc. The best use of middle click in mac is opening new tabs without precision of clicking and opening links in new tabs (which can also be done with Cmd + click). The only thing that would be missing is middle click - also on mac it's not as useful, you can't use it to launch new instances of apps from the dock, like with windows taskbar, and in most other cases it's also not as useful. Cinch gives you simple, mouse-driven window management by defining the left, right, and top edges of your screen as hot zones. I don't see a lot of benefit of having gesture to do most of this stuff, which is right there on the keyboard, and paying money for it. Then there is a free app AltTab which gives you exact experience from Windows on your mac, and there are default gestures for app switcher native in mac os. Should I uninstall BetterSnapTool if I have BetterTouchTool I am using only the standard settings of half and quarter screens. It's the same for every app on mac (unlike Alt F4, Esc, Ctrl W, etc for Windows). Also, there is a universal shortcut for closing tabs and windows (unlike MS Windows) - Cmd + W. On mac, there are media controls in F row of keys, for volume, play-pause, next-prev song. 1 I would like to do a little (not a lot) work with a split screen, largely to look at spreadsheets and bank statements simultaneously, and also to compare spreadsheets with data sources. It's not exactly a reply-solution, but I doubt it that you would need most of that.
